- Proof of advanced knowledge of the Spanish language (if Spanish is not your native language)
- Motivational letter explaining your reasons for studying or conducting research in Mexico (maximum 2 pages, Arial size 12, single line spacing)
- Letter of academic acceptance from the Mexican institution or proof of response from the higher education institution (HEI) regarding your application for admission (as specified in the acceptance letter requirements)
- Letter of commitment to return to your home country

- Copy of a valid colored passport or government-issued photo ID (open book format)
- Letter stating the truthfulness of the provided information, under protest
